Cabernet Sauvignon

I've been fine-tuning my wine tasting skills ever since helping a friend open a steakhouse in Ontario, Canada over 10 years ago. I've attended many international wine shows, try a new wine at a new restaurant every week and spend way much time in the LCBO! I had the unexpected pleasure to try this wine at an upscale Sacramento hotel a couple weeks ago. This wine had an incredibly seamless balance of forest berries, subtle oak and a hint of vanilla casis with a finish that had me coming back for more! I hope to get a case ASAP. C'est formidable! (It's tremendous).

I picked up this bottle at a Jewel-Osco in Chicago for $11.99. I'm not an expert in wine, but I've tried a few cabs with various price ranges and this one is really nice! It's worth much more than I paid for it - plenty of fruit when it's a little colder and a hint of spicy/peppery as it warms up, but not too much. I was very satisfied with this bottle and would definitely buy it again. Thank you, Truck Labeled Wine People! It's nice to find a great bottle at a reasonable price, and you've definitely delivered!

Awesome wine! We definitely aren't wine connoisseurs but are striving to be. This is the best wine we've had in awhile - it will be in our stock at all times. Thank you!!

I'm sorry to report that your cabernet, despite the label's promised notes of blackberry, vanilla and chocolate, bears greater resemblence to paint thinner. It has a thin, acrid and harsh flavor that is as hard on the stomach as it is on the palate. Your label also promises a guarantee. Let me know if you'd like back the unused portion.
RESPONSE FROM RED TRUCK Dear Mr. R, I read your most unfortunate thoughts on our wine and would love to make amends. Our Cabernet is one of our most popular/loved wines and I’m confident that you’ll love it too. Wine, as I’m sure you know, is a natural and ever-changing product affected by the shipping and storage conditions experienced on its way from our cellar to your neighborhood and those conditions admittedly aren’t always optimal occasionally resulting in a bottle of wine that isn’t up to our standards (or yours!). Thanks very much and call me directly if that’s easier for you – all of my info is below.

I'm really enjoying your Cabernet just like I enjoyed the "cab" of my dad's red '51 and my grandfather's '48. It's a different time, but I love Red Truck!! :)

We had this wine at a restaurant in Savannah, Georgia and were blown away by the great, smooth, fruity taste. Since we've been back in Florida, we haven't been able to find it. We've purchased the Petite Sirah from Whole Foods Market, but we can't find the Cabernet. Do you have an outlet in South Florida (Broward County)?

I was told about Red Truck from a co-worker. I thought the name was silly - not a sophisticated name that a good wine should have. But I gave it a try and love it! I've never been much of a red wine drinker, but now it's the wine to which I compare all other reds!

I received a bottle of 05 Cab as a birthday gift. I wish my birthday was everyday! It's the smoothest I've ever tasted. Dangerous in that aspect because you dont realize you are actually drinking...

I loved the Red Truck Cabernet that I bought. I'd highly recommend it to any experienced wine drinker or to someone just starting out. The Cabernet was full of great flavor! Thank you for creating a wonderful wine.

What a find! This wine has become one of my all-time favorites! I know I'm only supposed to have 2 glasses per night but the bottle always seems to be empty by the end of the night. The fun label drew as much attention as the wine to those who got Red Truck as a Christmas gift from me. Whoever is doing the marketing for Red Truck deserves as many congrats as the winemaker!

Well Done! This is a beautiful smooth cab I found out about over the summer and it definitely takes your taste buds for a ride. Delicious blackberry, vanilla notes balanced with chocolate and oak. Can't tell you how many times my family and friends have been hoppin' in for a ride on this truck!

I recently enjoyed a tasty ride in the red truck. It was an excellent accompaniment to a great steak dinner with my family. I will definitely "red truck" again. The fill-up is quite affordable and the ride is all overdrive!

My friend keeps telling me to try this wine and I bought a bottle of the Cabernet at my local Harris Teeter last week. What a fabulous product. Served it to a group friends – not the one that recommended it – and they all loved it. None of us are connoisseurs but enjoyed the luscious taste of this wine. Such an appealing flavor. Will definitely buy your product again. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Holy cow, for $9 this wine is mighty good. No over oaked, over ripe fruit bomb here. This Cab is really rich but smooth as silk. I see a lot of truck based language on this site so in honor will just say… this stuff blows doors!
